Our block had only been built for a few years and we were having a long list of problems with the freeholder and our managing agent. We decided to form a Right to Manage company and find a new agent. I was recommended to contact Jeet and right from our first meeting I was very impressed with his in-depth knowledge on a range of block management issues. I have been the director of a residents’ management company and Jeet has been a huge support to me in carrying out that role. Our block was in fairly poor condition when I was first appointed and so we have had to carry out several sets of major works, including rewiring all the communal electrics and replacing the roof of the building. Jeet’s property management and financial expertise was invaluable throughout this process.

Each year, Jeet worked closely with me to prepare a budget which would help us to achieve our most urgent goals and make prudent provision for the future, whilst at the same time remaining realistic for leaseholders.

He made practical suggestions for the management of the projects, such as appointing a surveyor to oversee the works and provide reassurance to the other leaseholders that the job was being done well. Perhaps most importantly, he was always ready and willing to answer questions from leaseholders about their service charge, meaning that all our residents felt listened to and understood the process. As a result we had no difficulties collecting the required funds.

Above all, Jeet is always professional and responsive - something of a rarity in my fairly extensive experience of property management professionals. He is a pleasure to deal with and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

I was having difficulties with my managing agent due to a backlog of outstanding service charge accounts for my block. I discussed these issues with Jeet and it was clear from our very first conversation that he had a wealth of knowledge on leasehold and service charge matters.

Jeet took charge of the situation for me and pointed out that our managing agent had not been complying with key bits of law in relation to service charge accounts. As a result, Jeet was able to stop the managing agent from incorrectly trying to charge a deficit of over £3,000 to the leaseholders. Instead he got our managing agent to cover this deficit out of their own pocket. A huge result for our block.
