Here’s what Jeet, founder and Director of JSG Block Management, has to say about the story behind JSG.

Building close relationships and knowing that we’ve helped create an environment our customers can be proud to call their home is immensely rewarding.

From beginning my journey over a decade ago as a Trainee Property Manager, I worked my way up the corporate ladder to hold senior positions with well-known managing agents.

My passion for block and estate management eventually led to me becoming a consultant for small to medium sized managing agents. I was a one-stop shop for advising them on best practice standards, health and safety, legislation surrounding service charges and complex leasehold matters.

Having worked with managing agents of all shapes and sizes, it was clear there was no correlation between the size of a managing agent and the quality of service being provided to the end user – the homeowner. I saw more and more homeowners receiving an outdated, inconsistent service which was miles away from what they were initially promised.

So I decided to take matters into my own hands. I created JSG to provide a modern solution for an industry which is often seen as being out of touch with its customers.

At JSG our philosophy is to place the homeowner at the centre of everything we do. At the end of the day it’s the homeowners that pay our fees.
Without you we wouldn’t even exist.

We keep our eye on the ball with what homeowners want and need from their managing agent. Our customers tell us we do a good job of this by working with them as partners, and keeping up to date with developments in this industry. In particular we pay close attention to changes in legislation and technical standards to ensure we are always protecting our customers, as well as innovative ways to maintain communal facilities by keeping service charges at a sensible level.

I’m especially proud of our ‘Director led’ service. This service resolves many of the key problems clients and homeowners continue to experience with the traditional approach adopted by so many managing agents. This fresh approach sets us up nicely to provide a truly personal service to the highest professional standards. I’m a firm believer of quality over quantity. JSG will never be one of the largest managing agents out there, but that’s perfectly fine with me. After all, our mission is to be the best, not the biggest.
